Breakdown coverage is provided by the Environmental Transport Association (ETA), Britain's only provider of breakdown and recovery that campaigns for environmentally sustainable transport. It provides fast and reliable breakdown service allowing motorists who are concerned about the environment to buy their peace of mind from an alternative to the other motoring organisations (who form part of Britain's immensely powerful road lobby). The average call-out time for ETA is 35 minutes and 80% of vehicles are fixed at the roadside. 98% of members say they would recommend ETA to their friends.
