How To Become A Rideshare Member

To ensure security this service is only open to registered members.

Membership of Hour Car Rideshare is FREE.

You do not need to join the Car Club to become a member but Car Club members are automatically members of the Rideshare Scheme.

To register as a member arrange to come into the Hour Car Office and bring with you proof of identity and address (see below).

You will be given a password for Internet posting of any lifts you are offering or providing on the Hour Car website.

Address and identity checks

Proof of identity such as driving licence or passport plus two proofs of address.

Official documents accepted to verify name and address must be dated within last six months and preferably consecutive recent documents if same type. These include originals of:

• Bank or building society statements
• Lease agreement documents from landlord
• Rent books
• Council tax invoices
• Inland revenue correspondence
• Loan agreement documents
• Credit card statements
• Pension or personal insurance policy documents
• Utility bills (beware of original quality as forgeries not uncommon)
• Passport
• Credit and debit card invoices
• Store charge card invoice
